Job Description
A Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently in retail stores, supermarkets, restaurants, or service establishments. Duties include operating cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems, processing payments, issuing receipts, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or above
Valid passport (for foreign workers)
Eligible to work in Canada (valid work permit or visa, if applicable)
Ability to handle cash, cards, and electronic payments accurately
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime if required
Physically fit to stand for long hours
Ability to follow instructions and workplace policies
Basic English speaking, reading, and understanding skills
